STUDENT SERVICES

We want to empower your child with the tools for long-term academic success

Difficulty with reading is a common problem about one in five people (including children) struggle with reading in some way.  Since it is such an important skill, reading difficulties can cause trouble in other areas of learning.  Therefore, it may be very hard for students to perform well in school and often lowers self-esteem.

Math is a very abstract subject and challenges are not always a result of a learning difficulty.  For many students who struggle with math, it is simply because they do not have a solid foundation needed for success.  These students may have fallen behind in a unit or moved on to advanced material before they were ready, leading to falling grades.

Coppins' Corner is open to all learners in the surrounding areas. Our program is built around the individual needs of the student, making sure that every student is progressing and improving at a pace that is realistic for them. The one-on-one learning sessions address students’ specific needs as determined by individualized assessments. The Coppins’ Corner program is designed to build self-confidence and improve the reading and math performance of students, as well as decrease their general frustration.

We also provide students with the tools to monitor their progress on their own, so with Coppins' Corner, the growing process never really stops. Our instructors have the skills and the strategies necessary to implement rigorous yet fulfilling programs that meet the reading needs of every single student.

COPPINS' CORNER LEARNING SESSIONS HAVE BEEN PROVEN TO IMPROVE BOTH THE MOTIVATION AND MEET THE READING & MATH NEEDS OF EVERY STUDENT.
